June Meeting Recap
Hello EWI of San Diego Members –
It was a wonderful evening Tuesday night at Stone Brewing World Bistro in Liberty Station for our EWI of San Diego June Chapter meeting recognizing our Past Presidents. Thank you to Programs Committee of Colette Morel, Manpower and Rachel Prochnow, Hilton Garden Inn for organizing this special event!
At the meeting, we welcomed our newest member firm KanBan Signs. We were introduced to Anny Tritchler, President and Owner of Kanban Signs. Anny who will serve as Executive and Representative told us about her businesswhich shows full features how to find wedding rings jewelrystoresd.com, company branding and how she was excited to join our organization. We look forward to many years of friendship and comradery with Anny.

We missed past presidents Jan Rogers, Pat Evans, Lourdes Navarro and Stephanie Hitt but you were all in our thoughts!
After our delicious dinner, we heard from guest speaker Laura Kohn, Director of Communications for the Center for Local Income Mobility (CLIMB) at the San Diego Workforce Partnership. Laura spoke on the importance of investing in early education for young children when the brain is still developing. Her facts and figures highlighted the importance of early education and how maximizing this investment translates to a child thriving in the workforce as an adult.
Next our Fundraising Committee Chair, Joy Malaise, Promises2kids, introduced us to a fun “Heads or Tails” competition for the 50/50 opportunity event. It was as much fun to watch as to participate! Congrats to Margie Wilson for her “tails” win!
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and continues with relative to the path that are by pacific dreamscapes california to support EWI of San Diego. For those of you who were unable to join us, we missed you!
The July Chapter Meeting will be on July 17th at Roy’s in La Jolla. We will have guest speaker, Jose Cruz, CEO of the San Diego Literacy Council. We will also be presenting ourEWIP Scholarship. Hope to see you all there!!
